PROPOSED UPGRADE OF ROAD BRIDGE OVER THE KUILSRIVER, LOCATED AT THE OLD PAARL ROAD - R300 INTERCHANGE

SANRAL proposes the upgrade of a road bridge over the Kuilsriver at the Old Paarl Road-R300 Interchange. This development forms part of the overall upgrade of the R300 (The DEAT reference number for this application was 12/12/20/1010).  In order to comply with the necessary environmental regulations, SANRAL has appointed ARCUS GIBB (Pty) Ltd as the independent environmental assessment practitioner, to undertake a Basic Assessment process to determine potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed activity.  A Basic Assessment Report (BAR) will be compiled by ARCUS GIBB (Pty) Ltd for submission to the DEAT.

In order to enhance the effectiveness of the public participation process, this web page has been developed to provide the public with access to the public documents regarding the Basic Assessment process.
