PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF TRADE ZONE - WATSON HIGHWAY LINK ROAD, LA MERCY, DURBAN: ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
The Dube TradePort proposes to construct a 3km long road to link the Trade Zone at the Dube TradePort to the Watson Highway (recently renamed Ushukela Drive). The proposed road will have a road reserve of approximately 54m and will accommodate two lanes of traffic in both directions. The road is proposed to run alongside the existing paved Sri Lanka Way from the Watson Highway and weir off toward the Trade Zone on its approach to the Dube TradePort.
