GIBB has been appointed by the South African National Road Agency (Pty) Ltd, herein referred to as SANRAL to conduct a Basic Assessment as part of the National Route 2 (N2) Rehabilitation Project in the Province of the Eastern Cape. The project has been named after the Ngxakaxa village which lies in close proximity to the project area. The rehabilitation will entail:

·         Upgrade of 6 km of existing gravel access roads within the Sheshegu Village to 4 m wide tarred roads

·         The closure of one (1) informal intersection which links from the eMamfeneni village to the N2.

·         Developing a strategically located intersection that links Sheshegu and eMamfeneni to the N2.
